About

Everyone should have the tools to feel the best about themselves that they can.  Unfortunately, in our world, perception does matter.  Looking professional in the office makes you feel more prepared to do your job which makes others notice you.  Everyone notices the person who comes to work dressed for a night out or dressed for the beach.  Everyone also notices the person who is well-dressed in appropriately fitting office attire, but this is the kind of noticing that you want.  We often want to dress the part, but we aren't sure what exactly to wear, and we always want to maintain our own unique personalities and not feel like we are dressing like everyone else.  You should have a unique wardrobe with outfits that are an emblem of your unique personality.

Whether going on a job interview with a new company, returning to work after years of being a stay-at-home mom, going from a very formal office environment to a more casual one, getting ready for a high school reunion or a cousin's wedding, realizing that you've gained or lost weight and haven't modified your clothes along the way, everyone has those moments of debating, "Is this really the right outfit," "do I look good in this?"  We all have those moments where we stand in front of our closets and say, "I don't have anything to wear." Often friends and family tell you that you look great because they don't want to hurt your feelings.  When you see a picture of yourself, you often realize, "I looked horrible.  That outfit was not flattering at all."

Often you know how you want to look or know someone whose style you'd like to emulate, but you don't know how to get there on your own.  You worry that it would take thousands of dollars to build an entire new wardrobe because you don't have any pieces that are right or the pieces you have don't fit or can't be combined into outfits.  Maybe you've never learned what styles to choose to accentuate your good features while camouflaging the areas you don't like or you worry that you aren't dressing appropriately for your age but you want to be stylish and on trend.

Maybe you just don't have the time, the flexibility or the energy to shop for the things you need, but the cost of a traditional stylist is holding you back.  I will work with you to combine the things already in your closet into outfits that that build your look.  Whether you get inspired by an outfit of the day or request an individually styled outfit, I'd love to help you put a look together.

I started training to be an image consultant when I was 17 years old simply because I loved clothes, fashion, beauty products, and shopping.  At the time, I didn't understand that not everyone is that way.  I also didn't understand that a big part of helping people with their image is being a good listener.  Let's face it, how many 17-year-olds do?  It took me a few years of maturing before I was able to constructively help and advise people on getting the right look for themselves while being sensitive to feelings and situations.  I'm so happy to say that the people I work with often turn into friends because I really try to take the time to understand why you feel passionately about the things that matter to you.  If I don't understand you, how can I help you?

It's important to me to offer services that fit every budget.  Everyone has to get dressed in the morning, and it shouldn't take more money than what you would spend on clothes to find someone to help you.  I also want to burst the misconception that styling has to be done sitting in a room together.  Technology such as Skype and something as simple as a digital camera have broken the barriers of how we can work together.

I also love to work with new and upcoming brands especially those who design for real women with real bodies. If you'd like to work with me, please email BespokeGina@gmail.com with inquiries.
