Sometimes date night is more of a formal affair, but for so many people pants are preferred over dresses or skirts.  So why not put a new spin on the tuxedo with a white dinner jacket.  A white blouse under the jacket is more traditional, but this silky black one provides a better contrast to the lapels, and if you slip off the jacket during the evening, the embellishment on the shoulders adds some extra sparkle.  If you leave the jacket on, your toes will still be bejeweled.  Keep jewelry discreet and add color by wearing a red lip.
